Comments:
We left White Pine around 10am. We took trail 12 to 102 to hook up with trail 13. Trail 12 had the usual early season wet areas, but overall was good for this time of year. Trail 102 was in excellent shape, smooth as glass! We got on trail 13 and it was in decent shape. I've seen it a lot worse and I've seen it a lot better as well. We got into Rockland around 11am and grabbed some lunch at Henrys Never "Inn". After lunch we got on trail 3 and headed south towards Bruce Crossing. This trail is in pretty bad shape and I would avoid it until they get another foot or so of snow. There were some very big wet areas and it looks like they can't get the groomer in there. Other areas had full grown trees laying across the trail and you really had to be alert in these areas. Once we reached trail 8, it was smooth sailing. The temperature rose a lot today and it's really taken it's toll on the trails. Any area that was exposed to direct sunlight doesn't have much snow left. We rode trail 8 into Bruce Crossing and gassed up. Then we got back on trail 8 and headed for Bergland. As long as the trail had trees to block the "evil" sun, it was in great shape. I'd say trail 8 was 20-30% bare. We arrived in Bergland and hooked up on trail 1 to head back to White Pine. Overall it was a good weekend of riding and very good for the early season! It can only get better from here!

The trails in the morning were good and later in the day they were pretty beat. It was mainly due to the traffic density.
