I have a 97 Kawasaki zx6r ninja with a clean and clear title in hand. I am looking to trade for a good running reliable trail worthy sled or quad with registration. Willing to part with this bike for $2500.00 cash. If you were looking for a trackday or racebike that is already fully prepped and just in need of a carb clean and complete once-over this is for you! I acquired the bike three seasons back from a friend who needed a daily commuter so I traded him my 99 Suzuki, thinking I would have time to race next season. Bikes been sitting for two seasons after that and finally this past spring I cleaned the carbs but don''t have a sync tool so they are out of sync. My guess is the fresh gas I put in during Feb08 is already bad now. According to my friend the bike was previously(probably back in the day)owned by a professional race team and motor has oversized pistons, timing advancer, and a valve job, along with aftermarket sprockets, steering damper,clip-ons,and rearsets. The bike is completely safety-wired for the track.CFM race rearsets, toby steering damper,and aftermarket clipons are just a few of the raceparts on here! As of right now this is a true trackbike, flip the kill-switch, start it up and go. My intentions were to transform it back to a street sleeper but don''t have time,or money,or interest for that matter!The original race plastic is gone, but I purchased a complete set of (needing new paint) original plastic, along with a rear sharkskins race tail. Additional parts to transform it back to street are factory guages, extra complete set of rims/street tires, wiring harness,fan,headlight,etc...Im sure there is more that I forgot so please ask any questions.
