This is a perfect two up family or ice fishing sled as it has plenty of room for passengers and plenty of power for pulling out the shack and gear. I have owned the snowmobile for about 4 years. It has been stored inside and has been professionally serviced on a regular basis. We used the sled this past season and I am only selling the sled to upgrade to something a little newer. This is 1989 Yamaha XLV two stroke, two cylinder 540cc fan cooled motor with electric start. Motor uses a single carburator with oil injection, no need to mix gas and oil with this sled. Starting from the front the general condition is as follows: skis - both solid and in good working condition w/ good carbides. Hood - good condition with one minor crack and one minor scratch on the right front. Windshield - no cracks and clear. High windshield gives you a nice warm ride. Accessories - all good working order, lights, starter, hand warmers, brake lights, electric start (battery is dead; We have been using pull start because it starts so easy), hitch system for pulling sleds or gear. Seat - very nice condition, no cracks in vinyl. Suspension - all in good working condition - Bogey wheels all in place w/ good bearings. Track - studded and in good working condition. Engine - great running and easy starting (my 11 year old can pull start the sled with no problems). Primary and secondary clutches - both were professionally inspected at the start of the season. Exhaust - good working condition, solid but shows surface rust. Brakes - good working condition. Snowmobile is located at my home in Edgar, WI located roughly 15 miles west of Wausau, WI.
